I also have to apologize for the slight lag in the two audio streams. Leo mentioned before the call that the Skype call was perfect. Seems he jinxed the recording, because AudioHijack, the tool I use to record the call, added a lag to my stream, and so you’ll sometimes hear Leo respond before I say something. I wonder if there’s a way to record two files for each stream.

Anyway, it was great fun having Leo on the show. We have a chat about his background, his many shows, and delve into the weekly news about gadgets.

Today’s show was a huge amount of fun. I rang a good friend of mine who moved from Perth back to Melbourne only a few months ago. His new job entails training people the technical details about an air traffic management system, so we spend a short while discussing the gadgets that they use and the layout of the system, from the controllers desk, to the radar systems around Oz. I found it amazing, and am sure it’ll interest a good number of tech people who listen.

Also, in the name of fun, we called some Star Wars fans who have started a line in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles and chat with a lovely Aussie called Caroline.
