The Gadget Show # 9
Skype, VOIP and more Skype. It’s the latest buzz word around the conference circuit, and with Lenn leaving Microsoft to go work for Skype it’s a timely podcast about the technology. So who better to explore this with than two experts on Voice Over IP, James Seng, the Assistant Director of Enabler Technologies at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, and Stuart Henshall, among many other things the creator of Skype Journal.
I had fun talking with these guys about VOIP, Skype and where the technology is headed. In fact, because the subject is so vast, I feel like relabeling this podcast “VOIP 101″.

Hi,
Great content. But I have to mention I could not make it all the way through the show. The sound quality was so poor. Could it be cleaned up for the archive?

Hi Dan, yeah we worked hard to get the best quality we could but the original audio on James’ end was pretty terribly unfortunately. Sometimes the Skype gods are not kind to us.
